Detailed Itinerary for Weekend Getaway to Periyar (03 N / 04 D)

Day 01 : Cochin
On arrival at Cochin Airport, Indian Wildlife Tourism representative will greet you and transfer to pre-booked hotel. After some refreshment proceed for the half day city tour of Cochin. You will visit Marine Drive, Fort Kochi, Hill Palace, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica Bolgatty Palace Willingdon Island, St. Francis Church and other attractions of the city. Later return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02 : Cochin – Periyar
Morning is at leisure. Enjoy the delicious breakfast at hotel. Later check-out form hotel and drive to Periyar. On arrival, Indian Wildlife Tourism representative will receive you and transfer to pre-booked hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Relax at the hotel. You can also enjoy pleasing Ayurvedic body massage and spa therapies offered by hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 03 : Thekkady
Enjoy delicious breakfast at hotel. The whole day is reserve for the excursion of Periyar Sanctuary. Explore the wildlife of the park through boat ride over Periyar Lake. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.

Day 04 : Thekkady – Cochin
This is the last day of your Weekend Getaway to Periyar tour. Have your delicious farewell breakfast at hotel. Check-out from hotel and enjoy a boat ride over Periyar Lake. Later Indian Wildlife Tourism representative will transfer to Cochin Airport for your onward journey.
